FALL AND SUFFOCATION HAZARD

Use conditions

Use only after your child has full independent head and neck control.
Up to 3 years AND a body weight of 16 kg or less.
Around 3 months is a guide only. Development varies. This carrier does not provide head or neck support.

PUT ON AND REMOVE IN A LOW POSITION

Sit or kneel in a safe place to put on or remove the carrier. Support your child when leaning. Bend your knees, keeping your back upright.

KEEP THE FACE AND AIRWAY CLEAR

Keep the face visible, nose and mouth clear, and chin off the chest. Check posture and breathing often.

AVOID THESE ACTIVITIES

Do not drive, cycle or cook while carrying your child. In a vehicle, use a suitable child car seat.

CHANGE WEARERS SAFELY

Take your child out before changing wearers. Adjust the carrier to the next adult before putting your child back in.

CHECK THE FIT AND TAKE BREAKS

Do not use if loose, damaged or poorly fitted. Take a break about once an hour, or sooner if either of you is uncomfortable.

STAY AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS

Protect your child in doorways and narrow spaces. If they cry or arch backwards, support them and check their position.

Face visible?
Keep your child’s face visible to you at all times.

Airway clear?
Keep the nose and mouth clear, and the chin off the chest.

Bottom supported?
Support the bottom and position the legs correctly. Keep hands and feet free of fabric.

Fasteners secure?
Close the zipper and snap. Keep straps secure and untwisted.

Care and inspection.

Follow the care label on your product.

WASHING

Use the water temperature and washing method stated on the care label. If machine washing is permitted, use a laundry bag. Do not use chlorine bleach. Hand washing helps reduce wear on the fabric.

IRONING

Iron only if permitted by the care label. Keep the iron away from the adjustment buckles; heat may deform the plastic parts.

DRYING AND STORAGE

Dry fully before storing in a dry place. Keep the carrier and pouch drawstrings out of children's reach when not in use.

CHECK BEFORE EVERY USE

Check fabric, stitching, straps, buckles, zipper and snap for damage or wear. Make sure the fasteners close and hold securely.

STOP IF THERE IS A PROBLEM

Do not use if damaged, unusually loose or unable to support your child correctly. Stop if your child's posture is uncomfortable or breathing is difficult. Do not modify the carrier or improvise repairs.
